3:29Now PlayingAs the winters arrive in Delhi, it brings along pollution problems also caused by stubble burning in the neighboring states of Haryana and Punjab. This year, the Pusa bio-decomposer, a microbial solution designed to facilitate the decomposition of paddy stubble between the harvest and the sowing of the rabi crop, will be applied across approximately 5,000 acres of land in Delhi, as confirmed by Environment Minister Gopal Rai's office. To carry out this initiative, the Delhi government has assembled 13 teams, and the operation will commence in parts of North Delhi starting on Friday. The application of the decomposer will be provided at no cost for all basmati and non-basmati paddy fields within the city, with the initial phase beginning in Tigipur near Narela on Friday.
