The money was stashed and hidden under a bed in over 20 cardboard boxes, where the contractor did not stay. It is worth noting that Ambikapathy played a significant role in the Karnataka Contractors’ Association campaign, where they claimed that the kickbacks for State Government contracts had reached a staggering "40% commission" during the previous BJP regime.
