The PM's tour to these temples comes before he and a number of other dignitaries attend the Ram Temple's "Pran Pratishtha" (consecration) event at Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, on January 22. At around 11 a.m. on January 20, Prime Minister Modi will take part in a function at the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Tiruchirappalli. After that, at about 2:00 pm, he would arrive in Rameswaram and perform "darshan" and "pooja" at the Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple.
