This comes after the special drive that was conducted on January 23 between 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM against ‘drink and drive’ violations among school vehicle drivers. Out of the 3414 vehicles inspected, 16 drivers were discovered to be operating under the influence of alcohol. Legal action, including criminal cases, has been initiated against these drivers, and their driving licenses have been forwarded to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) for suspension.
