Now PlayingTop News | On Saturday, the motion of confidence that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had brought before the Delhi Assembly on Friday was virtually unanimously approved. With the exception of BJP MLA Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, the Leader of the Opposition, 54 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs, including the Chief Minister, supported the vote of confidence. The seven BJP opposition lawmakers who are still in office are suspended. 54 of the 62 AAP MLAs who make up the House's 70 members were present for the party's parliamentary demonstration on Saturday. During the motion's discussion, Kejriwal made an announcement stating that the people who were not present in the House were either travelling, ill, or in jail.
