According to the ED, K Kavitha, the daughter of former Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and head of the BRS, plotted with senior Aam Aadmi Party figures. The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, together with Kavitha, allegedly conspired to obtain "favours" in the liquor policy. According to the agency, Kavitha reportedly gave AAP leaders Rs. 100 crore in return for these "favours." Acts of corruption and conspiracy brought in illegal funding for the AAP in the form of kickbacks from wholesalers.
