6:18Now PlayingTamil Nadu hosted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sixth time in 2024 on March 15. That same day, he left for Kerala on another excursion. The Bharatiya Janata Party is hopeful that this extraordinary surge in the Prime Minister's visits would help it win a few seats in two States that it has failed to win thus far in the next Lok Sabha election. Previous visits by Modi to Tamil Nadu occurred thrice in January, twice in February, and once in March. Kerala and Tamil Nadu hold 59 seats in the Lok Sabha together. The alliance's projections in Tamil Nadu include Union Territory Puducherry, bringing the total number of seats to sixty.
