Dissolving the current NITI Aayog, which was founded by the BJP administration, and reestablishing the Planning Commission to create plans in response to state government needs is another pledge stated by the DMK. In addition, the DMK has pledged to eliminate student debts, grant a monthly payment of Rs. 1000 to all women in every state, create a State Development Council including Chief Ministers, and forgive loans and interest for farmers in nationalised and scheduled banks.
