2:04Now PlayingTop News | Asia's largest tulip garden, nestled between the Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Hills, opened to the public on Saturday. The public was allowed access to the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, formerly known as Siraj Bagh, when tulips of all hues began to blossom. In order to ensure that the blossoms in the garden last for at least a month, the department plants the tulip bulbs gradually. The agency also announced that this year, there are five new tulip types in addition to the current 68. In addition, it has added two lakh more bulbs to the tulip garden, expanding its area. Over 55 hectares, a record 17 lakh tulip bulbs have been planted in the garden.
