Maha Vikas Aghadi was also going to give ticket to Mahadev Jankar. But at the last moment, Mahadev came to know and joined the Maha Yuti. Mahadev Jankar is considered very close to Sharad Pawar and used to support Sharad Pawar's NCP for many years. Mahadev Jankar's departure from MVA is being considered a big blow for Sharad Pawar faction and Maha Vikas Aghadi. In view of the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra, the BJP-led Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) are busy resolving the discord within the party regarding candidates.
