She has been requested to appear before the organisation on Thursday, March 28 in the nation's capital. The Delhi ED is questioning Suhan Mukherjee, Moitra's colleague. India Today was informed by sources that some transactions involving Mahua Moitra and Suhan Mukherjee are being investigated. Mukherjee, a well-known attorney in West Bengal, represents a number of prominent politicians connected to the TMC in court. In the cash-for-query case, the CBI filed a formal complaint against Moitra last Thursday. The anti-corruption ombudsman Lokpal's instructions were followed when the case was filed.
