3:59Now PlayingTop News | In response to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's appeal contesting his detention by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and his six-day custody in the money laundering case pertaining to the purported liquor policy scam, the Delhi High Court issued notice today. However, Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma denied the current chief minister any respite for the time being and sent a notice regarding his interim application for his immediate release.
This came about after ED's Additional Solicitor General SV Raju claimed that Kejriwal's attorney had neglected to provide the agency with a copy of the plea. He said that because the petition was submitted at the last minute, the Enforcement Directorate was required to provide a response and highlight specific details.
