The alarming incident quickly went viral on social media. CM Yogi immediately took the matter into cognizance. As a result, 4 accused have been identified and arrested the inspector of Gomti Nagar, the chowki in charge, and all police personnel present at the chowki have been suspended. Furthermore, the DCP, ADCP, and ACP have also been suspended in connection with this case. The Lucknow police are actively investigating to identify those involved in the misconduct reported in the Gomti Nagar police station area.
