15:52Now PlayingU.S. President Donald Trump hailed his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Busan as “an amazing success,” announcing a string of breakthroughs on trade, fentanyl, and rare earth exports. Trump said China would immediately resume large-scale purchases of American soybeans and farm products, while Beijing agreed to crack down on fentanyl precursors. In return, Washington will halve its new tariffs on Chinese goods from 20% to 10%. The two sides also reached a one-year suspension of China’s rare earth export restrictions, with Trump confirming he will visit Beijing in April 2026. Asked about nuclear testing, Trump defended his decision to restart tests, saying the U.S. must act as Russia and China conduct theirs.
