The statement echoes the announcement of Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz that IDF and US forces will intensify attacks on Iran, as the conflict with Tehran entered its fourth week, but goes against US President Donald Trump’s comment last Friday that he is considering "winding down our major military efforts in the Middle East" on Friday. However, Defrin dodged the direct answer of how far Tel Aviv intends to ‘capture a large territory’ in Lebanon.
