Russia launched a massive drone assault on Ukraine, with a strike reportedly hitting a Turkish-owned cargo ship shortly after it departed from Odesa. Ukraine’s navy accused Russia of targeting Black Sea shipping lanes after a fire broke out aboard the Vanuatu-flagged vessel bound for Turkey, injuring two crew members. The escalation came as a Russian drone also crashed into an apartment building in Romania, prompting Romanian forces to scramble fighter jets. Ukraine said Russia launched 232 drones and a ballistic missile overnight.
