Vance said 'Sometimes, you know, you've got a bit of a chicken and egg problem, that you've got a junior guy who fires a drone that didn't have approval from the high command'.
It followed talks with the Iranian delegation, as well as Qatari and Pakistani mediators. Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf headed up Tehran's team. Earlier Iran said it was closed the Strait of Hormuz again after continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon, with Hezbollah and Israel blaming each other for breaking the latest ceasefire. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said there had been 'major progress'. The US and Iran reached a 'Memorandum of Understanding' last week - with 60 days to secure a final deal.
