3:20Now PlayingRussia has introduced a new anti-drone cartridge aimed at improving the effectiveness of standard AK-series rifles against small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Known as "Mnogotochie," the ammunition reportedly separates into three projectiles after leaving the barrel, creating a wider spread to increase the likelihood of striking fast-moving drones. Russian officials say the round is up to 2.5 times more effective at ranges of around 300 meters and is compatible with existing 5.45×39mm and 7.62×54mm firearms. The development reflects Moscow's push to adapt conventional infantry weapons to counter the growing role of drones in modern warfare.
