Amid visible public weeping, prominent sections of the crowd vocally rejected ongoing diplomatic efforts under the current ceasefire, openly demanding military retaliation against Washington and Tel Aviv while declaring allegiance to his designated successor, Mojtaba Khamenei. Following the conclusion of the capital's ceremonies, the remains are scheduled to transit through the holy city of Qom and major Shiite sanctuaries in Iraq before a final entombment at the Imam Reza shrine in Mashhad on Thursday.
