8:13Now PlayingNATO Secretary General Mark Rutte pledged the alliance's 'full solidarity' with Germany on Wednesday, after Berlin accused Moscow of an attempted explosive-drone attack at Leipzig/Halle Airport in August.
"Russia has grown increasingly reckless [...] we have also seen an increase in malign activities, targeting our territory directly. Whether it is fires set in factories producing defence equipment for Ukraine, or indeed, the Russian hybrid attack in Leipzig," Rutte told reporters in Brussels ahead of talks with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
"The examples are many, the dangers Russia poses are clear, and we are working around the clock to ensure that we are prepared to keep our people safe," he continued.
