“Whenever it is necessary, we fight. Whenever it is necessary, we use diplomatic weapons to achieve the interests of the Iranian people.”
Tehran said the “satisfaction of others is not important” and accused Washington of repeatedly violating agreements over the past two decades. Iran also claimed the U.S. has yet to prove it is serious about diplomacy, deepening uncertainty around already fragile backchannel talks.
