6:39Now PlayingDuring an Oval Office event marking the return of the Presidential Fitness Test, US President Donald Trump had a light but widely discussed exchange with a young athlete. When the girl mentioned she played volleyball and was trying soccer, Trump asked about her height and jumping ability before suggesting soccer “might be better” for her. The remark, intended humorously, quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions online—some calling it awkward, others dismissing it as harmless banter. The moment came as Trump promoted reviving the decades-old school fitness program, originally introduced in the 1950s and later discontinued under Barack Obama.
