New York City's Zohran Mamdani is already using his power to deliver for his community.

Back in 2021, Mamdani helped secure massive debt relief for NYC taxi drivers by going on a 15-day hunger strike. On Tuesday, he was joined by many of the drivers he went on strike with as he announced Midori Valdivia as his pick to run the Taxi & Limousine Commision—another win for taxi and rideshare workers.

We caught up with the mayor after the event. "There's still work to be done," he told us. Watch!
