1:18Now PlayingActing Attorney General Todd Blanche issued an order late Sunday to terminate President Donald Trump’s $1.776 billion “anti-weaponization fund,” which could have compensated Jan. 6 insurrectionists. The move comes after Republican Sens. John Cornyn, R-TX, and Thom Tillis, R-NC, blocked Blanche’s attorney general nomination over the issue. The New York Times’ conservative writer David French calls the news “a small thing” that, while positive, remains “woefully incomplete” in preventing corruption inside the Department of Justice.
