11:08Now PlayingA simple maxim that I hear again and again is "courage begets courage." It's true. Every single time someone stands up to some injustice, it makes it that much easier for another person, or several, to do the same. Courage truly begets courage. On the other hand, however, courage's opposite begets itself as well. Cowardice begets cowardice. Every time someone fails to stand up and do what's right when it turns out that they should, people notice, and fear spreads. In this episode of James Lindsay OnlySubs, my subscribers-only podcast, I spend a few minutes talking about this two-pronged cascade, where standing up for what's right, or failing to, lead to more of the same. I hope you'll join me and consider ways in which you can choose courage over cowardice. It makes a difference. -James Lindsay
