Jones-Rooy fell in love with acrobatics while teaching in Shanghai, China. Now, like any true New Yorker, she takes the subway between gigs. “Circus makes you feel like a superhero,” she told The Post. “You’re waving fire around, you’re defying gravity, you’re balancing crazy stuff.”
