2:04Now PlayingNo more empty nest? As the coronavirus lockdown continues, many adult kids are moving back in with their boomer parents. Thankfully, Dr. Judi Bloom is here to help. The Los Angeles-based therapist shares her advice for the older generation on making the most of this unusual time. “Maybe you cook for each other, taking turns. It doesn’t have to be a family meal every night,” she said. “This isn’t Thanksgiving every day.” Her first tip: Have a family meeting and make a plan. She also encourages boomers to try listening to newer music and even pick up a video game controller: “You might like it!”
