Baby goat Simbi Pakistani’s current ear length is 55 cm according to breeder Mohammad Hasan Narejo.
She was born on April 4, a week before her brother’s death and length of her ears was 45 cm, three cm shorter than Simba’s 48 cm ears, at birth.
Simba passed away in last April after a brief illness while attempting to break the world record for the longest ears.
“Now, she currently is the longest ear female goat ever born. Currently, she holds the record for the longest ear goat and we have applied for the Guinness Book of World Records to kindly register the Simbi Pakistani as the female goat with the longest ears,” said Narejo.
Narejo feeds Simbi with a milk twice a day and he follows special diet which includes dry and green fodder.
He stressed that as Simbi grows, the ears’ length will increase noting he is hopeful for her to reach Simba’s ear length.
“At the death of Simba, his ear length was 85 cm,” said Narejo adding “She also will come close to 85 cm to 80 cm when she will reach to Simba’s age.”
