0:42Now PlayingThe mother of a Florida high school softball star who was left paralyzed after allegedly being stabbed 15 times by her ex-boyfriend had reportedly filed a harassment complaint about him just days before the ghastly attack.
Jacki Rogé reported Spencer Ross Pearson, 18, to police on May 29, claiming he had “started acting strange” toward her daughter, Madison Schemitz, 17, WLTV reported.
Rogé said Schemitz told her a few months earlier that her former boyfriend had been following her on her way to school, left notes on her car and was harassing her on social media.
Schemitz had reportedly blocked Pearson on social media, but her mother alleged that he created fake accounts so he could keep messaging her.
Rogé also claimed Pearson had been struggling with mental health and made suicidal statements – and told police that when she informed his mother about the matter, she said “she would handle it accordingly,” WLTV reported.
