The business area in the west of the capital where the Ukrainian drone went down, Moscow City, was already the target of an attack on Sunday that damaged two office towers.
“Several drones heading towards Moscow were shot down by air defense systems,” Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Telegram on Tuesday. “One hit the same City tower” that was damaged over the weekend, he added.
“The façade on the 21st floor was damaged, the windows were broken in an area of 150 m2. There is no information on victims," explained the mayor, who reported that the emergency services had gone to the scene.
