On Tuesday, Mexico’s National Disaster Prevention Center issued a yellow alert and urged people not to approach the area.
This footage of Popocatepetl’s ash plume was filmed by Alfredo Lecona, who said he filmed it from his home in Mexico City on Tuesday evening.
