1:02Now PlayingA passing driver unleashed a fire extinguisher on an unsuspecting NYPD traffic agent as the officer sat in his patrol car in Harlem, shocking new video shows.
The incident happened around 6:50 a.m. Thursday, while the agent was driving a marked NYPD cruiser north on Saint Nicholas Avenue near 118th Street. That’s when a four-door sedan pulled up next to him, the footage shows.
A front seat passenger in the sedan can be seen holding a fire extinguisher in his lap. He then yells “Yo!” at the agent — before spraying into the cop car’s open window.
