0:18Now PlayingA woman in Saratoga Springs, Utah, couldn’t believe her eyes when she captured video of a sudden strong burst of lightning outside of her home on Saturday, May 25.
Saratoga Springs resident Hanna was about to let her dog outside when it started to pour rain and hail. Hanna began to record the storm when the lightning struck nearby, emitting a bright flash of light and a loud boom.
“Did you see that? I caught that on film. Holy crap!,” Hanna can be heard saying in the footage.
The National Weather Service warned of thunderstorms and widespread showers for parts of northern Utah, which encompasses Saratoga Springs, on Saturday.
