Ron DeSantis and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, took the stage Tuesday on day two of the Republican National Convention and enthusiastically championed the ex-president in a stunning display of unity for the party.
The back-to-back speeches came towards the end of the night and were in line with Trump’s larger theme of “unity” that he announced after being nearly assassinated Saturday night.
Trump had prepared a “hot” speech at the convention, but tossed it aside after being shot, according to his son Donald Trump Jr.
