0:48Now PlayingA Tennessee pair were arrested on child abuse charges after authorities learned they locked a 7-year-old autistic child in a storage trunk inside their disgusting, feces-covered home.
Mikki Dee Moody, 36, and Sean David Moody, 39, were charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect and child endangerment after investigators searched their Elizabethton home for an unrelated case on Thursday, WCYB reported.
After arriving at the home and meeting both Mikki and Sean Moody, as well as the 7-year-old child, investigators learned the child has autism and is non-verbal, according to the report.
