Melissa Bizdikian, who captured the footage and was Katherine Martineau and Jim Haesaerts’s wedding content creator, told Storyful that the bride “was the only person who had no idea about the flash mob.”
“In her mind, the plan was to do a bouquet toss over the balcony but a flash mob broke out!” Bizdikian said.
In the video, captured in the St James Theatre in Montreal, the bride is about to toss her bouquet from a balcony when the guests stop her.
As “Dancing Queen” from ABBA starts playing, they burst into a coordinated dance, leaving the bride overjoyed.
