0:31Now PlayingThe aisle of an American Airlines plane flying to Minneapolis from Dallas was flooded with water on Saturday, December 7, after a lavatory began leaking, according to a passenger on board.
Video from Hilary Stewart Blazevic shows passengers watching as water crept down the aisle from the rear plane bathroom.
Blazevic told Storyful a woman used the restroom and came back out saying there was a leak, after which a flight attendant, seen in the video, unsuccessfully tried to stop the flow of water.
“It was utter disbelief and a little panic realizing they can’t shut off the water,” Blazevic said. She and other passengers had to grab belongings off the floor and lift their feet to avoid getting soaked in “disgusting” water, she added.
Storyful reached out to American Airlines for comment but had not received a reply at the time of publication.
