1:15Now PlayingA violent horde of bike-riding teens viciously attacked a man in the middle of a Los Angeles street “in broad daylight” after he allegedly got into an argument with them, according to cops and a disturbing video. NY Post reporter Georgia Worrell shares this story.
The assault, consisting of “20 to 30 bicyclists” between the ages of 16 and 18, started after the victim got out of his car to confront some of them after they “struck and kicked” his vehicle on Saturday in central LA, the Los Angeles Police Department shared in a press release Monday.
A startling video shared by investigators shows the teens ganging up on the man — relentlessly punching, kicking, and stomping the victim as he lay defenseless on the ground.
The attack happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of San Vicente Boulevard and Carrillo Drive in Wilshire, less than a mile from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and two miles east of Beverly Hills.
Police responded after receiving a call about an “assault with a deadly weapon” and found the victim.
Paramedics were called to treat the victim, who suffered “minor/visible injuries” after he was “overwhelmed” by the group of suspects.
