0:39Now PlayingSurveillance video captured the moment a man threatened multiple shoppers with a machete at a shopping mall in Canberra, Australia on Feb. 27.
Police were called to the Canberra Outlet Centre following reports of a man and a woman stealing a pair of shoes. When the duo was confronted about the alleged theft, the man pulled out the large blade and began swinging it at staff and other shoppers.
The mall was briefly put into lockdown following the incident.
