1:47Now PlayingWARNING: DISTRESSING CONTENT. Toledo, Ohio resident Derick Gant inadvertently filmed himself suffering a stroke while working out on July 23, 2024. The alarming footage shows the 57-year-old jumping rope before stumbling and falling to the ground. He says he couldn’t feel his left leg or arm as his Apple Watch sent him an alert that read “It looks like you’re in trouble, do you need some help?” His watch quickly contacted emergency services and paramedics arrived shortly thereafter. Due to the speedy response, Gant was able to make a nearly 90 percent recovery within 24 hours.
