3:19Now PlayingConnecticut police have released bodycam footage showing their interaction with a 17-year-old boy who died after what authorities say was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officers responded to a larceny report at a diner and stopped an Uber shortly after the suspects left the scene in the vehicle. The video shows the teen speaking with police, asking to call his mother, and fleeing on foot before officers lost sight of him. Moments later, police found him with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and a stolen firearm nearby. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he died during surgery. The incident remains under investigation.
