On Monday June 16, the first full day of deliberation, Kearny was spotted outside the courthouse and appeared to be recording a video of himself giving trial updates. A different reporter standing behind him started haggling him, saying Kearny lied and that he’s going to lose all his money. The pestering reporter continued trying to intercept Kearny’s recording, saying “She was drunk,” referring to Read. Kearny runs the TB Daily News site and publishes his articles with the byline “Turtleboy.”
