2:33Now PlayingChaotic video captured the moment at Christian minister was hit in the face by what was reported to be a flash-bang grenade or smoke grenade deployed by federal agents in Oakland, California. The local clergyman, identified as Jorge Bautista, had joined protesters outside the Coast Guard base in Oakland to demonstrate against the arrival of federal agents to the San Francisco Bay Area. The situation turned chaotic, as seen in the wild video. Shaylin Usiak, who filmed the video, told Storyful that “We were walking back and forth in the crosswalk exercising our pedestrian right of way and Border Patrol agents attempted to run us over,” while Bautists told KTVU that “I came to say we’re here in peace” but the agent who launched the device “didn’t care."
