2:17Now PlayingA Qantas flight traveling from Melbourne, Australia, to Dallas, Texas, was forced to divert to Papeete, Tahiti, after an allegedly intoxicated passenger caused a midair disturbance and reportedly scuffled with crew members. Video filmed by fellow passenger Mike Goldstein on May 15 shows the man stumbling out of an airplane bathroom, staggering through the aisle while yelling at staff, and grabbing onto passengers’ belongings to keep his balance as flight attendants warned him he would be restrained if he did not calm down. French police later boarded the aircraft in French Polynesia and escorted the unruly flyer off the plane before the flight refueled and continued on to Dallas, while Qantas confirmed the passenger has since been banned from flying with the airline.
