0:35Now PlayingKnicks owner James Dolan threw shade at Mayor Zohran Mamdani during Thursday’s celebration marking the team’s championship – then appeared to dodge a photo op as he was given a ceremonial key to the city.
Dolan took a swipe at Mamdani during a speech at City Hall at the end of the Knicks parade down the Canyon of Heroes, and following a nearly 10-minute speech from Mamdani where he recapped the team’s highlights.
“I don’t need your vote, I don’t need to quote to you, right, about what happened here because if you’re real Knicks fans, you know it already,” Dolan said in a mic drop moment, though he didn’t mention the mayor by name.
