4:46Now PlayingNewly released bodycam footage shows the November 2025 arrest of former Iowa Chief Judge Adria Kester, who pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated after allegedly driving the wrong way on Highway 30 in Boone County. Deputies said they found Kester slumped over the steering wheel with signs of intoxication, including slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, and later reported her blood alcohol content measured 0.254—more than three times Iowa's legal limit. Kester resigned following her arrest and later issued a public statement accepting responsibility for her actions and saying she wanted the records of her arrest to be made public.
