Mamdani again called Netanyahu a "war criminal" and argued that he is directly responsible for what he described as the "genocide" in Gaza. However, Mamdani said New York does not have the legal authority to enforce the ICC warrant. Instead, he said he hopes the federal government will take action, as it has the jurisdiction to do so.
