1:25Now PlayingThe House of Representatives narrowly approved its version of the fiscal 2027 National Defense Authorization Act in a 216-212 vote, authorizing $1.15 trillion in military spending. The measure passed largely along party lines, with Republicans arguing the funding is needed to support military operations, modernize defense capabilities, and provide pay raises and improved housing for service members.
