Jordan Salinas, who ran towards the sound of gunfire before engaging the shooter, had trained for such a moment for years after witnessing another mass shooting at a mall.
The drive-thru shooter, identified as Chad Williams, killed three people and wounded 7 others, before killing himself but police said the death toll would have undoubtedly been higher without the quick-thinking actions of Salinas and an off-duty cop who also sprung into action.
