Speaking in Yerevan, Armenia, during a European Political Community summit, she responded after Trump suggested a possible troop reduction in Italy and Spain. Meloni also said she is expected to meet U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Rome later this week for discussions that include a planned audience with Pope Leo.
